BAAHUBALI’S GRANDSON WENT BANKRUPT VS KATTAPPA’S GRANDSON THE NEW MILLIONAIRE IN THE TOWN

 EPISODE 1 : THE FALL

You all know Mahendra bahubali won the battle against bhallaladeva and became the king of mahishmati. What happens next?

Mahendra Bahubali ruled Mahishmati for next 70 years successfully. He maintained peace in the kingdom even though at that time Britishers occupied India.

The kingdom saw ups and downs but mostly ups. And then came Mahendra Bahubali's son Rudra deva like father like son, he followed the peace path shown by his father. He ruled Mahishmati for more than 50 years. Rudra deva's son Pratapa Rudra at his 20 crowned after his father's untimely death. It was when every Indian was striving for freedom from britishers. We can call it the freedom movement era. When Pratapa rudra  turned 30 India finally got freedom. At that time of Indian independence in 1947, India was divided into two sets of territories, one under direct British rule, and the other was Maharajas, Rajas, Nawabs who ruled under Britishers which is called a princely states. There were 565 princely states when India and Pakistan became independent. Indian National Congress wants to unite all the princely states to make one  India. To make this happen Jawahar Lal Nehru assigned this task to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who is the Home Minister at that time. The task isn't simple, it's like asking kings to live royal status and become common citizens by merging their kingdom either with India or Pakistan and royals can keep only private properties and they have to surrender a number of heritage properties to the government. To convince the king's;  the government came up with the "Privy Purse"  which is the payment made to the ruling families of princely states as part of their agreement to integrate with India.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel met Maharajas ,Rajas, Nawabs and discussed  benefits people will get when princely states are merged with India. While other rajas aren't ready to give their kingdom Pratapa Rudra for the benefit of people he gave the kingdom  Mahishmati.

Mahishmati was merged in India; its name changed into Madhya Pradesh. Era of kings, kingdom gone but Pratapa Rudra didn't want to let down the people who served royal families for ages. He provided jobs for everyone. Satyajit the grandson of kattapa whose family served Pratapa Rudra's family  for years. They have been close friends. He offered him 30 acres of land and they said goodbye to each other.    

   

10 years have passed…

Today Pratapa Rudra is selling his lost piece of land to a big corporate company owner in order to pay the debts he took from the bank.

It wasn't easy for them. The once upon a time royal family has nothing except the fort they are living in. But to Pratapa Rudra's big shock, the corporate company owner turned out to be Satyajit.

It was even a surprise for the satyajit too. Now the only question both were thinking is how the other ended up like this. Listening to the Pratapa rudra financial crisis satyajit offered help to him. But Pratapa Rudra kindly refused and said " If you want to help anything to me do it by teaching financial literacy"
